What we stand for
Prevention over cure. It makes better medical and economic sense to prevent illness rather than spend more on treatment later. Public health and preventive medicine are too often seen as a low priority.
Improving quality and performance. In a context where public spending will be under severe pressure, the NHS will need to become more productive. A big part of this is about improving management of a complex system.
