What we stand for:
Preventing extremism.
The Government has often been tempted to legitimise and deal with relatively extreme groups at the expense of moderates. This strategy is a dangerously short-termist approach, which encourages a milleu in which young people can be progressively radicalised.
Backing progressives against reactionaries.
We argue that the Government must confront those who do not accept the foundations of a liberal society and back moderate groups.
