School Funding and Social Justice

At the next election, education will, as ever, be a major battleground. The Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives have already indicated that they will fight on a platform of reforms that would see the principles of the academies programme (non-state providers running independent state-funded schools) expanded across the whole of the country. Reform on this scale requires re-thinking many aspects of the school system. This process is the topic of School Funding and Social Justice.
